December 12th, 2013 – the Reader’s Museum of the Library hosted the presentation of the new issue of “Sovremennaya Dramaturgiya” (“Modern Drama Literature”) magazine (# 4, 2013).

The Literary magazine “Sovremennaya Dramaturgiya” has been issued since 1982 and publishes the best Russian and foreign plays, topical materials concerning dramaturgy and theatre.

Rodion Beletskiy, the chairman of the meeting who is heading one of the magazine sections, made presentation of the new issue and profiled its authors.

The participators of the meeting presented their new plays:

Yulia Tupikina – journalist, playwright and scriptwriter from Moscow, winner of various drama contests.

Her first play “Babyblues” won the 10th International Drama Contest “Eurasia-2012” in the category “Play for the Big Stage”.

The new issue of “Sovremennaya Dramaturgiya” includes her play “Granny” (“Ba”) that won the first prize in the category “Play for Chamber Stage” of the contest “Eurasia-2013”.

The play tells a story of a young woman who lives in Moscow and is visited by her grandmother from Siberia.

Anatoly Vasilievich Korolev - writer, playwright.
